The Wawasee High School sophomores will have their Annual Nelson’s Golden Glow Chicken Fundraiser on Saturday, April 22nd.
Pickup will be held in the parking lot of Calvary United Methodist Church in Syracuse from 10 am to 2pm.

Celebrate Earth Day at the WACF Earth Day Festival. Come discover all the fun and exciting things you can do outdoors. There will be demonstrations of wake boarding, muzzle loading and flint napping. Try your hand at archery or learn to fish. Learn how to tie flies from experienced fishermen and watch experts make duck & goose calls and nesting boxes. You can help plant a tree or make a seed ball to take home & plant. Find out how the wetlands protect our watershed and what you can do in your lawn and garden to keep our water clean and healthy. Syracuse Community Center has invited you to come and join the fun! Saturday April 29th there will be a community dog walk at 3PM until 5PM for you and man’s best friend. You will be walking your dog around Syracuse-Wawasee Trail. There you get to see the beauty of your home town. There is no doubt that you and your dog’s body will be ready for summer after this! Princess Belle invites you to a tea party scheduled for Saturday, April 22nd from 10am to 12pm at the Syracuse Community Center! This party, with a real Princess, will include refreshments, crafts, singing, dancing, princess training, story time and photo opportunities. Princess or fancy attire is recommended! The North Webster Community Center invites you for an Easter celebration full of fun on Saturday, April 15th. Participate in the Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt at the Webster Ball fields at 9AM. Spring Story Time, for children ages 3 to 6 years old, will be hosted by the Milford Public Library on Wednesdays at 10:15 AM and 1:30 PM, and on Thursdays at 7 PM. Spring Story Time will last throughout the month of April. Register in advance by calling 574-658-4312.

The Wawasee Middle School Summer Soccer Camp is a two week summer campdesigned to prepare your kids to succeed in high school soccer. Students will learn fundamentals, drills, and fitness.
