1)  Do I need an e-mail account to register online?
2)  Is it possible to see who your childs teacher will be when doing online registration? And if not when will that information be available?
3)  How do I know how much to pay to the school and when do I pay them?
4)  On the on-line registration portal it states the only thing left to do after completion of the on-line registration is to drop papers off at the school. What papers is this refering to? Where we suppose to print all of this information out?
5)  After filling out the paperwork online, will I still need to go in to the schools during registration.
6)  Can I register my student online if it is the first time they have attended this school corporation?

1)  Q Do I need an e-mail account to register online?
A
You do not have to have an e-mail account for registration, but it is best if you do. The schools, in an effort to save copying and mail expenses, try to e-mail important information home. It is very easy to set up a free e-mail account that you can access from the local library or community center if you do not have a home computer.
2)  Q Is it possible to see who your childs teacher will be when doing online registration? And if not when will that information be available?

Not at this time...I am working with Harmony to make this visible for elementary schools. Right now, you will have to wait until the regular registration days when you bring in forms and make payments.
3)  Q How do I know how much to pay to the school and when do I pay them?

The fees for your elementary students is posted on the Home page of our corporation site. Middle School fees will be posted soon and be available in the Harmony web portal. They vary depending on what your student is signed up for. High school students will be billed by mail at a later date. Online payments will be available beginning the first week of August. If you do not want to use online payments, you can mail your elementary payments in or drop them by at the school office during registration days or normal office hours.

If there were any of the optional forms, like the Free/Reduced applications, prescription medications, sports sign up, etc., those could be dropped off. If everything you needed for your child was filled out online, then there wouldn't be any need to print anything out unless you wanted them for your own records.

Yes, since we are not yet set up for online payment, you will need to go in and pay book fees and/or make a lunch depsosit. You would also need to drop off any of the forms that you needed for your child that were not online as mentioned above.
6)  Q Can I register my student online if it is the first time they have attended this school corporation?

Not at this time. New students to the corporation need to come in for regular registration.
