All our welcome to participate. This is an IHSAA Varsity sport. We have fun, but also have high expectations for our athletes and partners. Come check us in the Spring!
Warrior Swimming offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of Warrior Swimming to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.
Our Track and Field program at Wawasee is one that gets students involved in multiple events. Every students must show interest in wanting to get better. This sports like many others requires a lot of discipline and dedication. We start conditioning during the month of November. Our first competition is not until early March. As your coach I ask for good attendance and great character. Track and field is a team sport but at the same time it can be an individual sport. Every athlete must be committed to represent Wawasee High School in the best way possible.
Clubs & Groups
The purpose of Student Council is to foster leadership opportunities, enact effective student representation, encourage school spirit through planned activities, and promote communication within Wawasee High School and surrounding community. Students may join at the beginning of the school year. There is an application process with a form.
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
Key Club is an international, student-led organization that provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. Key Club members will learn how to lead and stand for what's right through various service projects and volunteerism opportunities.
The Wawasee High School Robotics Team, aka the Iron Pride, was formed in September of 2013. The Team was formed to advance the STEM skills of students at Wawasee High School in Syracuse Indiana through the use of robotics, and to promote 21st Century careers in STEM related fields. Currently the team competes in the VEX Robotics Challenge and is a part of Wawasee Robotics, which extends its program down to the elementary level with LEGO WeDo. The team currently consists of 45 students grades 9-12, on 10 VRC teams.

Academic Super Bowl provides students a chance to have fun learning about topics that they may not get to in regular classes. Each year, students compete in teams against other schools to show what they have learned on a specific topic. There are five subjects represented: English, Science, Math, Fine Arts, and Social Studies. There are three competitions each spring, and teams who qualify for state travel to Purdue in May to compete for the state title in each subject. Anyone can join and there is no fee to participate!
International Thespian Society
ITS is an honor society for theatre students. After participating in two WHS shows and earning enough hours of service, you will be invited to join ITS. Through ITS you gain college scholarships and all sorts of theatre-related things!
