Come out tomorrow and buy some Nelson’s Golden Glow chicken at Calvary United Methodist Church, State Road 13 in Syracuse to support the Wawasee Sophomore class. Chicken sales will begin at 10am until sold out.

In celebration of National Poetry Month in April, the LRC is holding a poetry contest.
*Deadline for submissions is Friday, April 23rd.
*Must be original work.
*All styles/forms of poetry will be accepted.
*Subject & content must be school-appropriate.
*Poems will be judged based on originality, creativity, and artistic quality.
*Only (1) poem, per student, may be submitted.

Wawasee High School’s first ever Sadie Hawkins Dance will take place on Saturday, May 8th, 2021! It will be from 8-11pm at the Oakwood Resort Hilltop Event Center in Syracuse. This is a fundraiser to support the American Cancer Society, Relay For Life of Kosciusko County. The theme is “To The Moon and Back”. Color schemes are pearl white, black, navy blue and gold. Tickets are $15 and will be available for sale next week, April 19-23 at lunch with a max of 200 tickets to sell. First come first serve.
Each Junior/Senior is allowed one guest from any grade.
There will be a cash soda bar with drinks including root beer floats and other specialty drinks. If you are interested, please bring cash to the event.

The Varsity Baseball team hosted Columbia City and won 9-2. Grant Brooks, Kameron Salazar, and Colt Dolsen were the top performers.
The Girls’ Tennis team traveled to Goshen and lost 1-4. Kiah Farrington had a win on the night.
The Boys’ Track & Field team traveled to Plymouth and took on Concord and Plymouth. The team finished 3rd.
The Varsity Baseball team will host East Noble. The first pitch is at 5:00 pm.
The JV baseball team will travel to East Noble. The first pitch is at 5:30 pm.
The Varsity Softball team will travel to Manchester. The first pitch is at 5:00 pm.
The Boys’ Golf team will compete in the Northrop Invitational at Colonial Oaks Golf Course. Tee time is 9:00 am.
The Girls’ Tennis team will compete in the Jimtown 4-Way Invitational. The invite starts at 9:00 am.
