Fall 2019 Dental Auxiliary Day

Find out if a career in Dental Assisting or Dental Hygiene is for you. Whether you already know that a career in dental assisting or dental hygiene is your chosen career or you just want to learn more, Dental Auxiliary Day is for you. You’ll learn about programs from the dental assisting and dental hygiene faculty. You’ll get to speak to a panel of students in both programs to find out what it’s like to be a student. You’ll also gain insight into what makes a successful applicant. By now, all Wawasee Dollars for Scholars students should have their Nelson's Chicken tickets. You need to sell at least 15 tickets - remember money is due next Friday, September 27th.


If you took Wawasee Drivers Education at any point this year and are getting ready to go take your driving test to get your driver's licence - Please make sure that you see Mrs. Judy in the main office for your Certificate of Completion for your online class BEFORE you go.

As a part of the show we are having a Lip Sync Competition, available to all teachers and staff, with a cash prize of $100 for either yourself or to split with your group! It's not too late for you to sign up! If you'd like to participate, please email your song and lyrics to Mrs. Bonner for approval. It MUST be school appropriate or you will be disqualified! Auditions for A Christmas Carol are TODAY. Audition forms are available on the drama club bulletin board. Please read all of the instructions and fill it out completely. Bring it signed by your parent to auditions. Girls and Boys come TODAY. See Mrs. Bonner for answers to your questions.

Warrior Grit Shirts

Help Support the football team by wearing your Warrior Grit shirts to games and around school!

Shirts are $10. We have all sizes from s-2xl. The shirts are in two colors, Green and white.

Anyone interested in trying out for the girls gymnastics team or being a team manager should sign up in the athletic office by next Friday, September 27th. If you have any questions, please email Nika.


The Wawasee Volleyball program is hosting the Varsity Pink Out Invitational tomorrow starting at 9am. T-shirts, Ben's Pretzels, and more will be for sale with all proceeds donated to a great cause. The volleyball girls are wearing the t-shirt today. If you would like a shirt, but cannot attend tomorrow's tournament, please contact Coach Phillips and we will find a way to get you one.

In Sports:

The Freshman Volleyball team lost to Concord 24-25, 23-25.


The JV Volleyball team lost to Concord with a final score of 1-2. Laney Gross had 5 assists and 7 digs. Delaney Hare had 2 aces and 6 digs. Clara Kerlin had 2 aces. Grace Campbell had 3 kills.


The Varsity Volleyball team won against Concord with final scores of 25-21, 25-22, 18-25, 26-28, 15-10. Madi Simmons had 6 aces and 31 digs. Emma Dippon had 4 blocks and 9 kills. Molly Jones had 4 blocks. Leslie Vazquez had 3 blocks and 21 digs. Liz Kleopfer had 3 blocks, 6 kills, and 10 assists. Kai Jamora had 17 assists.


The Girls Varsity Soccer team lost to Elkhart 0-3.


The Boys JV and Varsity Tennis teams both defeated Elkhart 5-0.


Sports Schedule:

The Boys Varsity Football team will travel to Northwood tonight. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm.


Events for Saturday Include:

The Boys JV Tennis team will host the NLC JV Invite. The first serve is at 9:00 am.


The Girls Golf team will compete in the IHSAA Sectional Tournament at Stonehenge Golf Course in Warsaw. Tee time is 9:00 am.


The Varsity Volleyball team will host the Wawasee Invitational. The first serve is at 9:00 am.


The JV Football team will host NorthWood. Kickoff is at 10:00 am.


The Unified Flag Football team will host Warsaw and Valparaiso starting at 10:00 am.


The Boys JV Soccer team will compete in the NLC Tourney at Goshen. Kickoff is at 10:30 am.


The Boys Varsity Soccer team will travel to East Noble. Kickoff is at 11:00 am.
