In Pathways CTE News:
On Saturday, the Culinary Arts Department competed in the SkillsUSA regional competition. We have 3 students that qualified for the SkillsUSA state competition in April. Kohlten French (West Noble student) qualified in Culinary Arts, Anastasio Nunez (West Noble) & Sarah Minier (Columbia City) qualified in Commercial Baking. Anastasio placed all around first place and Sarah placed all around third place (of 30 students). Congratulations to our traveling students for a job well done.
In Music Department News:
This weekend, the choir department took 2 ensembles and 4 soloist to ISSMA Solo and Ensemble at Fairfield High School. They earned 3 Gold and 3 Silver ratings. Next is the ISSMA Organizational Contest in late April.

It’s time for some spring cleaning!
Key Club is collecting items for the Homeless Drive through today during Warrior Time. There will be collection boxes in the brickyard and near the main entrance by the main office through February 21. Items that are in need are:
Toiletries Clothing Blankets Hot hand
Scarves Gloves Coats Toys for kids
Shoes Hats Non perishable foods
and also monetary donations. Please help out those who are less fortunate.

Key Club will be selling carnations for Valentine's Day today through Thursday in Mrs. McKinney's room and at lunch for $1. Have the flower delivered, anonymous or not, or give it to your special someone yourself. Carnations will be delivered on Valentine's Day during Warrior Time. No extra charges so now's the time to make your move.
Students can purchase tickets online or in Mrs. Bonner's room (A108). Get yours before we sell them all!
The Boys Basketball C team fell to Angola 23-41. Finlinson led with 10 points.
The Wrestling team competed in the IHSAA Regionals at Penn. Congratulations to these semi-state qualifiers: Logan Stuckman, Hunter Miller, Dylan Tom, Jace Alexander, Gavin Malone, Garrett Stuckman, and Logan Baugh.
The Gymnastics team competed in the Lakeland Invitational. The team finished 6th. Aundreya Wegener finished 5th, Talia Kuhl 20th, and Emma Ebright 28th in the all-around.
The Girls Swim & Dive team competed in the IHSAA Sectional at Elkhart and finished 3rd. The 200 Medley Relay team of Lexi Mishler, Rileigh Atwood, Kiah Farrington, and Cammy Kryder set a new Wawasee school record finishing with a time of 1:47.80. They will compete at the state meet, in Indianapolis, in the 200 medley and 400 free relay. Lexi Mishler will compete at state in the 100 free and 100 backstroke.
