The Wawasee Athletic Department is excited to announce we have been granted approval to increase our spectator capacity to 25% for the remainder of the winter season home events. We can now welcome 600 Warrior fans into our main gymnasium for basketball games! We will be able to accommodate 65 spectators in our annex gym for gymnastics meets as well.

We would like to invite all Warrior fans to come and cheer on our student athletes. We look forward to seeing you at a game soon!


There will be a brief Boys' Golf callout meeting on Tomorrow, 2/9 at 3:10 pm in the Commons. Anyone interested in playing golf should plan to attend or contact Coach Coverstone.

Saturday:

The Girls’ Swim & Dive team competed in the IHSAA Sectional. The team finished 4th.


The Wrestling team competed in the IHSAA Regional at Penn. The team finished 3rd under Mishawaka and Penn. Congratulations to Kaleb Salazar, Hunter Miller, Dylan Tom, Brendan Dilley, Logan Stuckman (Champion), Jace Alexander (Champion), Gavin Malone, and Cameron Zimmerman as they will compete in the IHSAA Semi-State this weekend at East Chicago.


The Gymnastics team competed in the Lakeland Invitational. The Lady Warriors took 7th out of 14. Talia Kuhl had a season best on vault.


The Boys’ JV & Varsity Basketball teams traveled to Manchester. The JV team lost 33-62. Carson Smith led with 13 points. The Varsity team also lost 44-58. Collin Roberson led with 14 points.


Sports Schedule:
