There will be a short class meeting during Warrior Time TODAY. Go to your Warrior Time class first. The teacher will take attendance, then you’ll be dismissed to the Auditorium. This meeting will inform you about all of the scholarship opportunities available.
NEW Scholarship Opportunity! Wawasee High School PTO –This One-time $100 scholarship will be awarded to two (2) graduating seniors of Wawasee High School who will be attending a college, university, or a vocational trade school. Use the Wawasee Scholarship Application and return to the guidance office by the deadline. Application should include HS transcript, 2 letters of (teacher) recommendation. Application is in the *scholarship drawer. Deadline is April 17th, 2020.

Open to any students interested in a healthcare career. Come explore different healthcare career options at IVY Tech. Last year students heard about exciting careers such as Respiratory Therapy, Nursing, Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy, Paramedic, EMT…
This is not just a sit and learn experience. Students were able to go to the learning labs at IVY Tech and see and touch equipment. Students were able to draw blood, assist with placing a tube to help with breathing. If you’re interested, contact Mrs. Warren email@example.com

This year the money earned from Pow Wow will go to support former custodian, Byron Oswald, and his fight against cancer. Byron worked here at Wawasee for 27 years and made a huge impact on our school. He was loved by many staff and students and it is our job to give back to him this year by participating in Pow Wow 2020.

Cost: Entrance to the event is free but there are some activities that require a wristband, wristbands cost $5.
Food: Food will be sold at Pow Wow in the Commons

Key Club traveled to Indy Friday for the 68th Annual District Convention. Wawasee was honored to earn 2 awards and elect a new Lieutenant Governor! Phoenyx Niedermeyer was selected from the state of Indiana as the Most Distinguished Secretary! The Stuff the Bus was selected as the most unique service project! Abigail Morehead was selected as Lieutenant Governor for the Land of Lakes Division. She will be coordinating and training 4 other schools Key Club's! They made Wawasee proud this weekend!

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes presents - Night of Hope on Monday, May 18, 2020 7:00pm at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Arena with speaker Drew Brees.
This is a free event but you must register to attend.

The Iron Pride is pleased to announce that we have qualified four teams to compete at the Indiana State Robotics Tournament at Lucas Oil Stadium. 574C Centurion, 574D Immortal, and 574F Barbarian will be competing in the high school division. 574H Samurai will be competing in the middle school division. This is their fifth straight appearance at the State Championships. It would be wonderful to bring another State Championship banner home to display. The Iron Pride has won the State Championships twice in the last three years.
State is on March 7th at Lucas Oil Stadium, 500 South Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46225. Doors open to the public at 9:00 am,qualification starts at 10:30 am, finals at 3:30 pm.
There will be a callout meeting for all girls interested in playing Tennis this spring on Wednesday, March 4. The meeting will be immediately after school in the Lecture Room.
The JV & Varsity Basketball teams ended their regular seasons Friday night, against Tippy Valley, in the Hardwood Tee Pee. The JV team won 54-42. The Varsity team won 56-36.
Congrats to Aundreya Wegener...she has earned the right to compete in the Floor exercise at next Saturday's Regional at Huntington North!
