Seniors will be given the opportunity to visit a college or job shadow. Should they do either of these they do not need to report to school. Seniors who report to school will be escorted to old Syracuse Elementary for community service.

JUNIORS: Your fundraiser items will be delivered TODAY during the school day. Please plan on coming to the auditorium after school to pick them up. If you have a lot, we have carts to load them into your car. You will need to park out front after the busses leave and come into the auditorium from the front. You may have a parent stop by and get your items also.

Congratulations to the Wawasee Marching Warrior Pride for receiving a Silver Rating at the Homestead ISSMA Open Class Invitational Saturday.
6th through 12th grade Wawasee students, Rock Solid Teen Center is available after school on Thursday’s until 6:30 pm. The meeting place is the Wawasee Heights Baptist Church, across the street from the high school. Snacks, a meal, fun activities, a short devotion and help with homework will be available.
All girls interested in playing basketball this year: Tryouts begin on Monday, October 21st at 3:15pm. Players need to have an athletic physical on file as well as have the athletic packet of forms turned in order to tryout. Please see the Athletic Dept or Coach Carpenter (room B214) if you have any questions.
In Sports:
The Varsity football team lost to Elkhart Memorial with a final score of 21-14.
The Boys Varsity Cross Country team placed 5th in the IHSAA Sectional and will be advancing to Regionals.
The Girls Varsity Cross Country team placed 8th in the IHSAA Sectional.
The Freshman Volleyball team placed 3rd in the NLC Tourney.
The JV Volleyball team lost at the NLC Tourney to Northwood 12-25,11-25 Elkhart Memorial 18-25,18-25 and won against Concord 25-22, 25-21.
The Boys Varsity Soccer team lost to West Noble in the IHSAA Sectionals with a final score of 1-3.
