Congratulations to our 2019 Homecoming Queen Kristabella Arriola and King Jeremy Napier!

Students- Parking Tags required to park at WHS are still being sold in the attendance office for $10.00 through TODAY. Students who are not driving until later in the school year: you can still buy your parking tag now for the year. Students purchasing a parking tag for the 2019-2020 school year on or after October 1st, the price increases to $20.00.

Students- All hats and hoods are not allowed to be worn inside Wawasee High School. All bags are to be stored in lockers. No bags are allowed in classrooms or the cafeteria. The ONLY exception is physical education class.

Seniors who did not get a graduation cap and gown packet can pick one up in the main office.

Jostens will be back on Tuesday, Oct 8th, to take orders for graduation items (caps, gowns, announcements, etc.)

If you took Wawasee Drivers Education at any point this year and are getting ready to go take your driving test to get your driver's licence - Please make sure that you see Mrs. Judy in the main office for your Certificate of Completion for your online class BEFORE you go.

Calling all students to the 1st Annual Key Club Car Show this Saturday, October 5th from 11pm -2pm at the Tennis Courts. Students, ever want to show off your amazing wheels? Now is your chance! We have several awards that you could win and finally have the braggin rights. Wondering what awards you could win, here are the categories:

Best Mom Car (bring moms car and win!)

Best Sound System (now you have reason to blare those speakers!)

Best Hooptie (have a hunka-hunka burnin junk, enter it here!)

Best Wheels (have some amazing wheels, this is for you!)

Adult's Choice (adults will pick the best student car)

Key Club Choice (Key Club members will pick the best student car)

Loudest Exhaust (bring your loud (no muffler) cars)

Best of the Best (the hottest student car there!)

Registration is only $10. See you there!

In Sports:

The Boys Cross Country team competed in the New Haven Class Saturday. The team finished 7th. Michael Hammer had the 5th fastest time of 17 minutes. The girls team finished 17th. Bailey Mayhew had the fastest time of 22:44.

The Freshmen Volleyball team finished 3rd in the Central Noble Invite. The Varsity team went 3 and 1 in the Bremen Invite. Emma Dippon had 23 kills, Madi Simmons had 7 aces, Kai Jamora had 32 assists and Leslie Vazquez had 23 digs on the day.

The JV Girls Soccer team lost to Warsaw 0-4. The Varsity team also lost 0-8.

The Boys Varsity Soccer team lost to Warsaw 0-5. The JV team also lost 0-6.

The Varsity football team lost to Plymouth 35-0.

Sports Schedule:

The JV and Varsity Volleyball teams will travel to Northridge. First serve is at 5:30.

The JV Football team will travel to Plymouth. Kickoff is at 6:00 pm.

The Girls Varsity Golf team will travel to Noble Hawk Golf Course to compete in IHSAA Regionals.
