Not sure about what you want to do after high school? JAG could be a great fit for you! We explore post-secondary options, offer financial incentives for goals met, paid internships, employer engagement, field trips (when permitted) and help with any obstacles that you may be facing prior to graduation. We are active, we are community involved and we have a ton of fun. Email Mrs. Perry at jperry@wawasee.k12.in.us, stop by room B211 or contact your guidance counselor for more information.

THIS MESSAGE IS FOR CURRENT SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS!!!
Scheduling for next year is already underway! Do you have an interest in Electronics or Computer Science?
Please see Mr. O'Connell and check out the Power Up Lab, currently in B215, across from Miss Justice's room, and see what we have done this year.
Power Up is a year long class (2 periods each trimester) that focuses on Computer Programming and Electronics. It is a fun, hands on class that will help you learn how to program in Python, along with an introduction to other programming languages like C++ and HTML. You will learn how to solder, build circuits, fly drones among other things.
As you schedule in the next few weeks, please consider Power Up!

Attention Students:
As you are considering your next year's schedule, consider Digital Audio/Video Media Production. Work daily with our schools’ radio station 93.7 FM The Mix. Participate in live sports broadcasting on radio and TV with CPG-TV. Work with Adobe Audition and Premiere Pro to produce multiple Audio/Video projects. Go to YouTube.com/CPGTV to see some of our students work. If you have any questions, feel free to email Mr. Van Lue or Mr. Huffman. jvanlue@wawasee.k12.in.us or phuffman@wawasee.k12.in.us

Auditions for the Choirs will be happening near the beginning of February. The three choirs being offered next year will be Beginning Choir, Advanced Choir, and Select Choir (which is listed as Vocal Jazz - it is not actually a Jazz Music course). Beginning Choir is open to everyone, and auditions for Adv. and Select will be open to any Junior or Sophomore, as well as any Freshman that has completed (or is in the process of) at least ONE credit of Beginning Choir. After this year, anyone interested in the higher level choirs will need to take at least two credits of Beginning Choir to audition. For more information about the choirs and how to audition (read the audition requirements carefully), follow this link:

If you meet the criteria for the auditions and would like to try out, you'll need to submit this form by your audition:

Email jfredericks@wawasee.k12.in.us with any questions or stop by the Choir Room.

Wawasee Performing Arts is happy to offer a possible new and experimental course called Black Box Theatre. If you are interested about what the course is or just want some clarity about it, follow this link:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/14bcCjmq4A8LTSu-prll96Thxe65_GGipFYrtdsZ4J0U/edit
If you have questions about this, stop by Mrs. Bonner's room or Mr. Fredericks' room or send them to jfredericks@wawasee.k12.in.us.
You'll need permission from Mrs. Bonner and Mr. Fredericks to take the course, so make sure you communicate with them when you sign up.

Auditions for the spring play, CLUE will take place after school on Thursday, January 28th in the auditorium. Students are asked to perform a one-minute monologue from the show. Mrs. Bonner will have sample monologues to choose from and they are available in the drama club google classroom. Email Mrs. Bonner to join the classroom if you are interested.
