Sophomores:

Your class fundraiser of selling Nelson’s chicken is coming up! You’ll be selling pre-sale tickets Friday, March 20th through Thursday, April 2nd.


The Health Hero Vaccination Clinic will be held Tuesday, March 24th at the High School. Consent forms have been sent to eligible students via postal mail. Forms must be returned to the Health Clinic or Front Office by Wednesday, March 18.


Sign-Up is now available in the Main Office for the American Red Cross Spring Blood Drive.

This year the money earned from Pow Wow will go to support former custodian, Byron Oswald, and his fight against cancer. Byron worked here at Wawasee for 27 years and made a huge impact on our school. He was loved by many staff and students and it is our job to give back to him this year by participating in Pow Wow 2020.

When: This Friday from 6:00-9:30pm

Cost: Entrance to the event is free but there are some activities that require a wristband, wristbands cost $5.


Food: Food will be sold at Pow Wow in the Commons

***This event is ONLY open to Wawasee High School students, students from other schools are not allowed at Pow Wow***

CIGARETTE CLEAN UP

Put the cigarette and juul down and join us outside for an afternoon with friends and nature instead! The Voice Core Leadership team is holding an event to clean up cigarette butts as well as inform the community of tobacco use and litter. There will be an opening and closing ceremony to go over activities and announce the winner of the prize for whoever collects the most cigarette butts.

When: March 14, 12-2:30 pm

What: Cleaning up cigarettes, games, prizes, food, and music!

Where: Syracuse Community Center, the beach and park area and downtown area

Why: Fun, friends, and nature!


Wawasee Spin Club

Dance & Spin with us!

Ever wonder what color guard is? Join us to learn how to dance and spin a Flag. Spin Club is a fun new extra curricular club for the spring of 2020. No experience necessary. We will teach you everything you need to know. Bring a friend with you. Flags will be provided.

Who: All current 9th grade - 12th grade students

When : March 14th & 28th 8-11 am

April: 18th & 25th 8-11 am

May : 9th & 23rd 8-11 am

Where: Meet @ Wawasee Middle School Choir Room

Attire: Stretchy dance or gym clothing only (no jeans or khakis). Tennis shoes with socks. Hair must be pulled back into a ponytail or bun. No hats or baggy clothing. Bring water with you. *You must have a physical on file*
