IVY Tech I-Career Day

Open to any students interested in a healthcare career. Come explore different healthcare career options at IVY Tech. Last year students heard about exciting careers such as Respiratory Therapy, Nursing, Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy, Paramedic, EMT…

This is not just a sit and learn experience. Students were able to go to the learning labs at IVY Tech and see and touch equipment. Students were able to draw blood, assist with placing a tube to help with breathing. If you’re interested, contact Mrs. Warren


Friday, March 13

This year the money earned from Pow Wow will go to support former custodian, Byron Oswald, and his fight against cancer. Byron worked here at Wawasee for 27 years and made a huge impact on our school. He was loved by many staff and students and it is our job to give back to him this year by participating in Pow Wow 2020.

Where: Wawasee High School

When: March 13th from 6:00-9:30pm

Cost: Entrance to the event is free but there are some activities that require a wristband, wristbands cost $5.

Food: Food will be sold at Pow Wow in the Commons

***This event is ONLY open to Wawasee High School students, students from other schools are not allowed at Pow Wow***

Sports Teams Sign-up costs:

Volleyball-$15 per team

Dodgeball-$20 per team

3 on 3- $10 per team

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes presents - Night of Hope on Monday, May 18, 2020 7:00pm at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Arena with speaker Drew Brees.

This is a free event but you must register to attend.

Flyers are located in the main office if you are interested.

There will be a callout meeting for all girls interested in playing Tennis this spring TOMORROW. The meeting will be immediately after school ‘til 3:45 pm in the Lecture Room.


WHO: Anyone interested in joining UTF

WHEN: TODAY during Warrior Time

WHERE: Spectator Gym

WHY: Because it is FUN!

UTF is a collaboration between the IHSAA and Special Olympics Indiana.

UTF is an inclusive team that allows ANY WHS student to participate in a Varsity sport.


We will teach you everything you need to know!

Congratulations to Carter Woody and Levi Brown...both young men will be continuing their education and baseball careers next year - Carter at Kellogg Community College and Levi at Anderson University.
