The main office has the Guest Registration Forms for the WHS Semi Formal Dance. A guest is someone who is NOT registered as a student at WHS. Forms need to be returned to the main office by Nov. 13 with the proper documentation and picture ID.

Krispy Kreme pre-order sales have begun and will end on November 15. Order forms and money are due by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15th. You are required to sell a minimum of 10 items (any combination of donuts and coffee). Pick up and Delivery will be in The Commons on Thursday, November 21st. Plan to deliver your items that day to assure fresh donuts for your customers. Turn your orders in to Mrs. Baird at the main office no later than Friday, November 15. If you need additional order forms, pick one up in the main office. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Coblentz or Mr. Bauer.
Stuff the Bus is starting this week. We will be collecting non-perishable items until November 15th. All items collected will be distributed to local food pantries. The Warrior Time Class that collects the most overall and the most per student will win a bowling and pizza party! Mrs. McKinney is challenging all students to at least bring in 1 food item! Can you do it??

Wawasee FFA had the opportunity to represent Indiana in the National FFA Dairy Cattle Evaluation and Management Career Development Event at National Convention. This contest consists of a management test, a team event where they must review a dairy farm scenario and present solutions to the problems identified, and judge 6 classes and give 3 sets of oral reasons. The contest happens over 2 days. The team of Evan Coblentz, Logan Hollar, Emily Sabin and Jackson Templin finished 15th overall out of 43 teams. FFA does things differently..they dont give individual rankings beyond 1st in each of the categories. We do know that Evan was 12th high individual overall. Evan and Jackson were gold emblem individuals, Logan silver and Emily was bronze. There were 173 individuals in the contest.

Tonight, the Music Department will present their choir concert at 7:00 pm. Come out and hear what they’ve been working on.
Phantoscope is a film competition for young filmmakers who are currently high school students. It is sponsored by the Richmond Art Museum. There is a $1000 cash prize awarded to the contest's best film. Awards are given in other categories including Best Editing Screenplay, Documentary, Cinematography, Acting and more. This is a great way for students to be recognized as artists and potential candidates to study film, mass media, or telecommunications at the college level. Additional information is posted on the bulletin board outside of the guidance office.
