TOMORROW is PSAT Day for Sophomores and Juniors.

You will need to bring 2 #2 pencils and an approved calculator for the math portion.


This is the schedule for TOMORROW for SOPHOMORES/JUNIORS:

8:30AM Report to Testing Sites Juniors = Gym / Soph = WT

8:30 - 8:45AM PSAT Instructions Approximate time-frame

8:45AM - 12:35PM PSAT Testing Extra time built in as cushion

12:35PM - 1:05PM Lunch Eat in the cafeteria

1:10PM - 2:04PM Period 5

2:09PM - 3:03PM Period 6

SENIORS (who come to school)

Seniors will be given the opportunity to visit a college or job shadow. Should they do either of these they do not need to report to school.

Seniors who report to school will be escorted to old Syracuse Elementary for community service.

Attention All Sophomore Girls:

The N.E.W. Conference is coming up on Thursday, November 14th. If your interested in attending please sign up in the CTE Office by Thursday, October 24th. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Christner or Mr. Everingham in the CTE Office.

The Wawasee Iron Pride Robotics Team hosted its third annual Girl Powered event, Indiana Gets Girl Powered III, Saturday, October 12th at WHS as a part of the global Girl Powered Initiative started by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation. 11 mentors volunteered their time, experience, and expertise to empower the next generation of women to join STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields. Over 60 girls aged 10-18 signed up from as far as Marion and mentors as far as Kent, OH

6th through 12th grade Wawasee students, Rock Solid Teen Center is available after school on Thursday’s until 6:30 pm. The meeting place is the Wawasee Heights Baptist Church, across the street from the high school. Snacks, a meal, fun activities, a short devotion and help with homework will be available.

All girls interested in playing basketball this year: Tryouts begin on Monday, October 21st at 3:15pm. Players need to have an athletic physical on file as well as have the athletic packet of forms turned in order to tryout. Please see the Athletic Dept or Coach Carpenter (room B214) if you have any questions.
