Attention Junior and Seniors - Applications for Wawasee Dollars for Scholars are now available in the main office. Dollars is a great way to help pay for your college. Applications are due on Friday, September 13th. For more information, please check the email you received or see Mr Bauer in room B106 or B108.

JUNIORS! This year's fundraiser to raise money for prom and graduation will begin on September 13! We will be selling laundry detergent and similar items. Mrs. Bonner is in charge and has answers to your questions. Start asking your family now if they need some detergent soon!

The Wawasee FFA Chapter will be hosting its annual Chapter Kickoff on Friday, September 13th from 3-6pm. All are welcome to attend for food, fun, and to find out what FFA is all about!

Students interested in going to NYC with the Drama Club over Fall Break 2020 (Next year!) and want more information or a fundraiser to get started raising money need to see Mrs. Bonner in room A108. All eighth graders - juniors are eligible. Thanks!

Performing Arts Students:

There are copies of the A Christmas Carol script in the LRC for students to check out and read if they are interested in auditioning for the fall play.

93.7 FM The Mix & CPG-TV is looking for students to work our Football, Boys & Girls home Basketball games. You don’t have to be in the Radio/TV Class to participate. Please stop by the studio’s and talk to Mr. Van Lue or Mr. Huffman.

In Sports:

The Varsity Volleyball team tied Westview at the Westview invite. Wawasse won over South Bend Adams and Fort Wayne South Side, but lost to Westview and Bethany Christian. Liz Kleopfer had 11 aces and 22 assists. Leslie Vazquez had 6 aces, 18 kills and 14 digs. Kai Jamora had 29 assists. Emma Dippon had 14 kills and 2 blocks. Dylan Konleczny had 11 kills. Madi Simmons had 31 digs.

The Freshman Volleyball team lost to Concord. 18-25, 25-16, 6-15 and Northwood. 24-25, 23-25.

The Varsity Girls Soccer team lost to Concord 8-1.

The Girls Cross Country team finished 4th in the Northwood Invite.

The Boys Varsity Cross Country team finished 6th in the Northwood Invite.

The Varsity Football team lost to West Noble 6-21.

Sports Schedule:

The Varsity Boys Tennis team will travel to take on Whitko. The first serve is at 5pm.

The Boys and Girls Cross Country team will host Plymouth and Northridge. The meet starts at 6pm

The Varsity and JV Boys Soccer teams will host Elkhart Memorial. JV will kickoff at 5pm with the Varsity to follow.

The Freshman, JV, and Varsity Volleyball teams will host Manchester. The Freshmen and JV teams will start at 5:30 with the Varsity to follow.
