2020 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship
The Kosciusko County application for the 2020 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship is open! This prestigious award is for full tuition, required fees, and a special allocation of up to $900 per year for required books and equipment. The Kosciusko County Community Foundation is pleased to have the privilege of recommending recipients from Kosciusko County for this award.
Students who are eligible to apply for this scholarship include:
· Kosciusko County residents who will graduate from your school no later than June 30, 2020
· Those intending to pursue a full-time baccalaureate course of study at an accredited public or private nonprofit college or university in Indiana
· Those pursuing an academic and/or technical honors diploma at the end of their Junior year (must provide a transcript to verify)
· Those maintaining a GPA of 10.3 or higher on a 12.0 scale at the end of their Junior year (must provide a transcript to verify)

All required materials including three completed recommendation forms must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on September 15. Congresswoman Jackie Walorski invites you to Service Academy Night on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It will be held at the Mishawaka Public Library, 209 Lincolnway East, Mishawaka, IN. The Wawasee FFA Chapter will be hosting its annual Chapter Kickoff on Friday, September 13th from 3-6pm. All are welcome to attend for food, fun, and to find out what FFA is all about!

93.7 FM The Mix & CPG-TV is looking for students to work our Football, Boys & Girls home Basketball games. You don’t have to be in the Radio/TV Class to participate. Please stop by the studio’s and talk to Mr. Van Lue or Mr. Huffman.
Are you a student at Wawasee High School? Then we want YOU for the Flag Football Team!! You do not have to be a star athlete! We meet only 3 times a week for most of the season and after school practices are only 1 hour long! Unified Flag Football is a collaboration between the IHSAA and the Special Olympics designed to create a more inclusive community at WHS through a fun and active team experience. If you are interested in joining the team please contact Mr. Wilson (email@example.com) or stop by Mr Shipley's room B107 before or after school. Practices have already started but we are always looking for more teammates!!

The Varsity Volleyball team lost to Central Noble 20-25, 25-22,18-25, 20-25. Madi Simmons had 16 digs. Leslie Vazquez had 13 digs. Emma Dippon had 10 kills. Liz Kleopfer had 8 kills and 11 assists. Molly Jones had 2 blocks. Jamora had 17 assists and 2 aces.
The JV Volleyball team lost to Central Noble 21-25, 25-18, 14-16. Amanda Allen had 5 assists. Delaney Hare had 7 digs and 2 aces. Talia Kuhl had 6 digs. Katelyn Nieman had 4 kills and Emma Siri had 4 kills and 2 aces.
The Freshman Volleyball team was defeated by Central Noble 24-25, 15-25.
The Boys Varsity Soccer team lost to Breman 0-2.
The Girls Varsity Soccer team was defeated by Manchester with a final score of 1-0.
The Boys Varsity Tennis team won against Central Noble with a final score of 5-0. Zach Leedy wins 6-1. Holden Babb wins 6-0. Blaine Baut wins 6-0.
