Our home basketball game against Warsaw this Saturday is a special night! It is our Fight Against Cancer Night! The Wawasee and Warsaw Girls Basketball High School Teams are raising money for a Wawasee Teacher/Coach and Warsaw student that are both battling this awful disease right now. ALL proceeds will go to these 2 individuals and their families. Please support this important cause by 1) attending the game and considering donating while there and 2) purchase a t-shirt for $15 to support the cause and wear to the game in support. All Girls Basketball Players will be taking t-shirt orders this week and if you are a WHS student, shirts will also be available for purchase during the Lunch Hour in the cafeteria. All checks should be made payable to "Wawasee Athletics."

Any girl that missed the Softball callout meeting can pick up info in Coach Gibson's room, A206.

The Boys Basketball teams are selling pancake breakfast tickets this week. Enjoy a hearty breakfast this Saturday from 7 to 11 am in the high school cafeteria. Adult tickets are $6.00 and 4 and under are $4.00. You can purchase tickets at the door. All proceeds will go to the boys basketball teams.

Attention Senior Football Players! A coach from Franklin College will be here tomorrow 12-19 (Thursday) during Warrior Time in the weight room. He is here to talk about what their football program is all about and looking for recruits. Please see me (Coach Reutebuch) for a pass if you are interested in going.

In Sports:

The Boys and Girls swim teams both defeated Northwood. The girls 128 to 56 and the boys 110 to 74.

The Girls Varsity Basketball team defeated Bethany Christian 45-40 Emily Haines had 15 points and 4 rebounds and Becca Smith scored 12 points and 11 rebounds
