Students, with spring upon us, we are kindly asking you all to help us out and remove the paper snowflakes from the lockers around the school. We ask that you take them home or they will be removed over Spring Break. Thank you!

Nurse Schedule Change This Week:

Tomorrow, I will be out of the office starting at 11:30 and Nurse Moser (Gail Moser) will be subbing for me. She will not have access to the Google Form for requests. Students, please ask your teacher for permission to see the nurse. Teachers, please provide a pass to students or call x2940, if you can, to make sure there's room prior to sending.

On Thursday, April 15th the Marines will be here for a visit during all lunch periods. They will be located outside the cafeteria windows so make plans to go out and see them if you are interested.

The Key Club VOICE Committee will be holding a the #BeHeard challenge to help raise awareness for vaping in our community. The winner will receive a $10 Taco Bell gift card. The contest consists of a video where a single person or a group writes a personal experience or experience of someone else pertaining to the effects of vaping on cards, and then shows them to tell the story. Make sure you record in Landscape Mode using your phone.

In celebration of National Poetry Month in April, the LRC is holding a poetry contest.

Contest guidelines:

*Deadline for submissions is Friday, April 23rd.

*Must be original work.

*All styles/forms of poetry will be accepted.

*Subject & content must be school-appropriate.

*Poems will be judged based on originality, creativity, and artistic quality.

*Only (1) poem, per student, may be submitted.

*Send digital entries, via Google Docs, to Miss Fowble at Please include your full name & grade level.

There is a callout meeting for 2021 Wawasee High School Football today in the auditorium after school. The meeting will begin at 3:10 and will be done no later than 3:25 at the latest. If you are planning on playing football next fall, make sure you are there or let Coach Reutebuch know why you can't be there so we can get you the needed information.

Sports Results:

The Boys’ and Girls’ Track & Field teams hosted West Noble. The Boys’ lost 23-100. Ben Haines took 1st in the 800 and Mason Shoemaker took 1st in the 100 Meter Hurdles. The Girls’ also lost 52-78. Taking a 1st in the 100 is Kaydence Shepherd. Dylan Konieczky took 1st in the 100 & 300 Meter Hurdles and High Jump. Alissa Gill took 1st in the Long Jump and Emma Yoder took 1st in Discus.

The Varsity Softball team hosted West Noble and finished in a tie 6-6. Haylee Allen pitched all 7 innings and had 12 strikeouts.

The Varsity Baseball team traveled to Manchester and won 9-4. Kameron Salazar, Jacob Meek, Parker Young, Lucas Ringler, Colt Dolsen, and Adam Beer all scored.

The JV Baseball team hosted Manchester and lost 5-6. Hunter Fiedeke, Jay Duncan, and Cole Turner all scored.

Sports Schedule:

The Varsity Baseball team will travel to Wabash. The first pitch is at 5:30 pm.
